The preparation technology of high-strength and hightoughness lightweight aggregate concrete (HSTLC) was investigated. The effect of the ratio of water to cementitious materials (w/c), mixing technology and fiber content on the compressive strength, flexural strength and splitting tensile strength were investigated. The results showed that compressive strength of lightweight aggregate concrete decreased with increasing w/c, and there exist an inflection point on the curve of w/c-compressive strength, w/c=0.23. The interface enhance technology can increase the strength of lightweight aggregate concrete. And the adding macro polypropylene (PP) fiber to lightweight aggregate concrete significantly improves the flexural strength, splitting tensile strength and brittleness. The use of macro PP fiber has a little contribution to compressive strength and flexural strength of concrete but a great influence on splitting tensile strength, and the splitting tensile strength increased with increasing the fiber content.
