The drying processes of six kinds of Polygala were researched by the method of thermogravimetry analysis in the air atmosphere, in which the heating courses were set in two ways of the programming temperature from room temperature to 600 °C and the constant temperature at 50°C, 70°C and 90°C, respectively. The process in the programming temperature period of Polygala includes three stages of the drying and dehydration, the fast pyrolysis, and the medium speed decomposition. The peak temperature of drying stage changes from 78°C to 88 °C. The dynamic analysis of isothermal drying process based on the thermogravimetric data at 50°C, 70°C, 90°C shows that the Page model is suitable, in which R2>0.9300 and SD<0.0852. The drying constant k of samples SXPO, GSPO and SXIPO is corresponding to the Arrhenius equation, the activation energies are 28.07, 25.38 and 21.48 kJ/mol, respectively.
