Impact of PV storage systems on low voltage grids - (PPT)

Storage systems are supporting the grid integration of PV systems: The total number of critical voltage raises is reduced; Grid voltage is more balanced, even if all PV Storage systems are installed on one phase; Both effects depend on the system topology, the battery size and the control strategy; Potentially, distribution system operators can benefit from a larger number of installed PV storage systems, e.g. from reduced grid reinforcements; A smart control strategy of PV storage systems can provide additional improvements to the grid.
