Analysis of Wuhan Auto and Auto Parts Industry Structure Based on Porter's Five Forces Model

Auto industry is the first pillar industry Wuhan, and auto parts export trade plays an important role in the development of Wuhan economy. This paper analyzes current situation and the structure changes of automobile and automobile parts industry in Wuhan on the basis of Porter's Five Forces Model. It concluded that there are some problems in the import and export trade of Wuhan auto and auto parts industry, for example, the scale is small and scattered and the export structure of products is unreasonable. Some suggestions on optimizing automobile and automobile parts export structure in Wuhan are put forward at last, such as promoting enterprise restructuring, improving enterprise development ability, adjusting the product structure, improving industrial chain and the government guidance.
