The Study on the Relation between Agricultural Trade and the Disparity of Chinese Regional Agricultural Economic Growth

First of all, this paper utilizes coefficient of variation to measure the degree of difference of regional agricultural economic growth, regional agricultural imports, as well as agricultural exports during 1995—2008, and then describes the change trend of three variables in sample period. In order to verify the relationships among the three variables further, this paper implements ADF test and co-integration test on the three sequences of coefficient of variation. Then through the Granger causality test, we can conclude that agricultural imports Granger cause disparity of regional agricultural economic growth, and then the disparity of regional agricultural economic growth leads to the disparity of regional agricultural exports.
