An Application Research into the Different-Material Insertion in Knitting Clothing Design

摘要

Knitting cloth is composed of coils, boasting the characteristics of large flexibility, retractility, and easy deformation, which results that its making and handling is greatly different from that of woven cloth, so that the proper utility of different-material insertion in knitting clothing is capable of fostering strengths and circumventing weaknesses. The present paper starts with the functionality features of knitting and woven fabrics, and their functionalities of dressing, namely, style, color, material, carries out an inductive analysis and thereotical exploration, and finally presents thereotical reference and instruction for the innovative design and development of knitting clothing.
