Africa has become a strategic market for Chinese domestic electronic appliance corporations, and cooperating with Africa is obviously important for their success and survival. In order to survive and develop well in Africa, the Chinese corporations must find a new sustainable business pattern that is fit for Africa. This paper explores into the current challenges and strategies of Chinese domestic electronic appliance corporations, such as Huawei, ZTE, Midea,Gelanshi, Super in high-tech market which are trying to extend their business to Africa. It focuses on the issue that Chinese domestic electronic appliance corporations are involved in. It examines their successes and failures in terms of what parts of the value chain they specialize in and how to establish a division of labor with African partners.
