In the outdoor virtual scene,the natural surface effect can make the scene more real In order to create some materials with special effect,we often think of the processing capabilities of the GPU and write some shader. The shader not only need the designers with strong capabilities of programming but also cost resources of the system. So it is necessary to optimalize the virtual scence. In the paper the writer propose using level of detail (LOD) technology,using dynamic texture and the way of model of fluctuation surface combining with material mapping method to realize the flowing surface with the effects of reflection and refraction. When it is used in environment representation such as the outdoor scene,it will make the surface more real,less computational complexity and designing and implementation more simple and convenient.
