A group of twenty people took part in a study on the effects of physical training on weight loss and body composition change. To underline the additional effects of exercise to the dietary program, the study was conducted in two stages, the subjects following initially only a dietary program, associated then, in a second phase, to an exercise program called CARDIOMIX.The indicators used for the nutrition status were: body weight, fat percentage and the active mass, body mass index, perimeters waist, hips, thighs and chest. Measurements have shown that physical training overlapping the diet produced an improved body composition and a more pronounced weight loss for each subject separately compared with the first report when the only change in lifestyle of the subjects was the changing diet.
