Pickling Process for Stainless Steel

摘要

The objective of this development is an enhanced chemical pickling process for Stainless Steel, which is suitable to treat fabricated goods made of any type of Stainless Steel and which allows easy recycling of rinse water and waste. Pickling of Stainless Steel is an enhanced chemical corrosion process to remove all oxides and ferritic contamination as well as Chromium depleted layers from the surface of Stainless Steel to produce a metallically clean condition providing enough Chromium for the later formation of a stable passive layer.
