Compaction processes are more and more cost and technology driven. Decreasing lot sizes, smaller clearances and complicated asymmetric geometries of the work pieces are the trends in the compaction process. New press and tool concepts like multilevel application, split die, split punches, transverse punches and multi cavity compaction should support the new trends. The Powder Compaction Tooling reduce cost and increase the quality of the compaction process due to a technology chain, which combines a maximum of productivity through reduced setup times with increased form and position tolerances of the compaction tools and best alignment technolo-gies.
