Altos Hornos de Mexico S.A. (AHMSA) is an integrated steel plant located to the North of Mexico (see Figure No. 1), with an installed capacity of 3.6 million tons of liquid steel per year, using iron ore and coal from our mines, and having a pelletizing plant, a sinter plant, two coke plants, two blast furnaces, two BOF shops with combined blast and a continuous casting shop. Main products are cold rolled sheets and hot rolled strips.
