Phytic acid and it salts have been suggested to be used as environmentally friendly inhibitors and to possess many attractive advantages including its low cost, availability, nontoxic and "green" reagent to the environment. In this paper highly corrosion-protective and stable polypyrrole films were directly electrosynthesized on copper from aqueous phosphate solution.
