The daylight is a natural energy that can be used most easily into the house, and the effective use contributes to energy conservation. After people feel that it is dark for only the daylighting in the early evening, they turn on the artificial lighting. Moreover, people turn on the artificial lighting in the early morning. However, the artificial lighting is felt not necessary because of an increase of the daylight, and they turn it off. Then, it is thought that the condition of the artificial lighting contributes to the energy saving on light environment of the morning. The purpose of this research is to examine the influence of daylight that changes in the morning, positions of luminaries and light sources on necessity of the artificial lighting and evaluation of atmosphere in the room. The pseudodaylight device is used for the experiment. It was suggested that it be more advantageous to use the LED as a light source than the fluorescent lamp, if the LED and the fluorescent lamp have the same efficiency. However, it is necessary to discuss it more because there is a possibility that the glaring feeling influences the evaluation. Moreover, it is more advantageous to use the central lighting than the distributed lighting from the viewpoint of the energy saving.
