High Efficiency Fuel Cell for Production of Heat and Power at Camp Parks

摘要

The main objective of the project is to provide Camp Parks Reserve Forces Training Area in California with a clean, efficient, and reliable on-site combined heat and power (CHP) system that will reduce energy costs and pollutants while increasing energy efficiency and sustainability. To accomplish these goals, a 300MW molten carbonate fuel cell, designed and built by Fuel Cell Energy, was installed at the facility. By employing such a system, this project has reduced the facility's dependence on utility scale power and, therefore, improved its energy security.
