PAFC cost reduction

摘要

Cost must be reduced aggressively to enable commercialization of Combined Heat and Power (CHP) fuel cells. A significant portion of the fuel cell system cost is the cost of cell stack materials and manufacturing processes including labor. Cost of fuel cell components is roughly split half and half between materials and manufacturing costs. Significant R&D investments to enable continuous efficiency improvements along with operational excellence are essential to drive down manufacturing costs.
