摘要

In polar coordination for the purpuse of irregular curves milling, a method of C-function cutter radius compensation was presented. The new process method is based on the curve approximation, adopting the method of approximating irregular curve with tiny straight line. The machine tool motion control system just makes the machine axials move along these line segments and finally the processing path can be formed. In order to realize the transition between line segments, a practical method of C-function cutter radius compensation in polar coordinate was presented. This method can make curve smooth and realize CNC machining about the irregular outline curves.
