Recently, as a new polyoxyanion cathode, Li2FeSiO4 (LFS) has been attracting growing interest due to its low cost, high safety, environmental benign, and high theoretical capacity (332 mAh g~(?1)). However, its intrinsic poor electronic conductivity and slow lithium ion diffusion limit its practical application. So, much effort has been made to improve the electrochemical performance, such as carbon coating, particle downsizing and metal cation doping. Among them, metal cation doping can effectively improve the intrinsic conductivity of polyoxyanion cathode materials.
