How can proper services be delivered and composed to satisfy the user's intention turns out to be a major research issue in service oriented systems. This paper proposes a solution enhancing service composition based on a model of the user's intention and a set of service patterns. The core hypothesis of this research is that the composition mechanism may be guided by a model of user's intentions. The composition mechanism uses furthermore a model of service pattern. This paper presents the overall methodology adapted to achieve a composition guided by intentions. We demonstrate, through a scenario, how user intention can help in the composition of services.
