The paper presents identification of stress concentration areas in ferromagnetic structures with the use of the metal magnetic memory method. The Metal Magnetic Memory Method (MMMM) is a relatively new diagnostic method which belongs to the non-destructive group of tests. This method has been developed intensively since the 90s of the last century [10]. At the XVII International Non Destructive Testing Congress it was recognised as the non destructive testing method for the XXI century due to the possibility of identification of the stress concentration areas even before the occurrence of first microcracks. Therefore it is a significant improvement on the existing non destructive testing methods which usually detect danger places after the occurrence of the first fractures.
