Agreement between ACEA and UITP how to interpret the directive and how to apply when calculating the external costs. The calculation models shows how to calculate these costs based on fuel consumption values from certified SORT cycles. Three options for calculations: setting technical specifications in the documentation for the purchase; award criteria in the conditions of the procurement procedure; monetising the impact in g/km (fuel consumption/km) and consecutively used for the purchasing decision.
