Economic Development, Broadening of the Labor Market and Increasing Quality of Labor Forces, Economic Effects of the Europeanization of Higher Education

The European vision of education - led us to believe that higher education plays a vital role in European society, being a creator of knowledge that is to apply in society and economy and generating also the process of economic and social development. Through this scientific approach it had been taken a deep analysis on the development of the education level, particularly the tertiary education in EU-27 countries, from 2003 to 2007 in order to get a link between this and the economic development, the broadening of the labor market and the increase of labor forces quality for highlighting the economic implications of financing and development of academic education. Also, the link between economic development and higher education we have achieved and analyzed by association and a comparative analysis of factors related to development policy and the degree of participation of population in higher education on regions. From the matters broached during this paper we have outlined the main economic effects of the Europeanization of higher education.
