摘要

The paper describes the adaptation of various TRIZ principles to create new operators for the Bees Algorithm to solve a complex combinatorial problem. The problem investigated was the assembly of printed-circuit boards (PCBs) using a machine of the moving-board-with-time-delay (MBTD) type. The results obtained using the Bees Algorithm with the TRIZ-inspired operators are found to be better than those by other algorithms from the literature including the original Bees Algorithm.
