The Study of Evidence Theory from Two-dimensional to Multidimensional Synchronization Fusion

The combination rule of D-S evidence theory reflects the joint effect of two evidences. To get the ultimate target attribute judgment from the information of multi-evidences, this thesis presents the D-S combination rule of multi-dimensional synchronization fusion. Firstly, the conditions of multi-dimensional synchronization fusion are analyzed in detail. Then using the certainty factor instead of the uncertainty factor in D-S combination rule to get the fusion results, not only the calculation of insignificant joint probability product terms is avoided and the course is simplified, but also the practical application of D-S evidence theory could be extended. At last, the simulation results show the validity and feasibility of the multidimensional synchronization fusion.
