Training needs of e-learning authors

摘要

The following article discusses current developments in academic training regarding the competencies of e-learning authors. The authors of the paper show the importance of relevant skills in order to produce high quality content. They discuss how the gap between the offer of trainings and the actual need can be filled. For this purpose they present some results of an inventory and requirement analysis of e-learning authors. In addition there are given some experiences from the work of e-learning projects at the universities in the Free State of Saxony in Germany.
