According to inherent characteristic of scroll compressor, modern design method is applied to scroll compressor among the design and research. Modern design method includes Pro/E modeling, finite element analysis, dependability project, optimization algorithm, virtual assembly, virtual manufacture, virtual instrument testing etc. Various methods are studied and analyzed, it realizes three-dimensional modeling, high-accuracy simulation analysis, virtual assembly and manufacture, offers the high-efficient and practical research means for design and improvement of the scroll compressor. The using results indicate that the modern design method can well overcome the blindness and limitation in the traditional design, save cost, shorten the cycle of design and upgrade, raise development ability of products and design quality, it offers the new method and idea for wide application of the scroll compressor.
