Marketing research has an area of extremely wide coverage; we could say that there is no area of marketing business which is not subject to investigation and research, especially when referring to the broadcasting market in general and the television in particular and to component institutions. The omnipresence of mass media is a phenomenon typical of today's civilization and is one of the major components of economic and social interests which gather a very large number of people. Given the vast human and material potential that it uses for its development and the beneficial effects on individuals, mass media, especially television, acts as a factor stimulating the spread of information and knowledge and it increases the quality of life.
