Shiloh AcroStik Patch Laminates for BIW NVH Applications - (PPT)

There are many alternative methods to provide sound and vibration damping on body panel. This presentation will compare the noise and vibration performance of AcroStik APL with other materials and also highlight the design methodology to ensure good formability. Shiloh AcroStik Acoustic Panel Laminate (APL) offers many of the advantages of full laminate but at a lower cost and weight and with improved stiffness and weldability. Patch constrained Layer (PCL) was chosen for comparison as it is representative of other materials' performance.
