A Sewer Pipeline Installation Using Pipe-jacking in Lang fang

摘要

This paper analyses the influencing factors based on a trial section of pipe-jacking project in the city of Langfang, which is close to Beijing. The relative weight of each influencing factors is obtained by the comparison between the field measured and theoretical calculation pipe jacking force. The authors had colligated all aspects of the influencing factors and proposed improved formula for calculating pipe-jacking force. The improved formula can predict more accurate jacking force and provide more reliable theoretical basis for slurry balance pipe jacking project design and more accurate data for the design of subsidiary facilities (such as reception shaft and exit shaft) of pipe jacking method.
