Web Storage Service (WSS)

摘要

This paper presents a Web Storage Service (WSS). This service is basedon Web technologies and allows its users to manage a big and increasing amount ofstorage space. WSS creates a scalable virtual disk that continuing increases its storagespace by means of integrating available heterogeneous file servers connected throughInternet in a transparent way for users. The objective of WSS is to offer to its usersa scalable and easy to use storage server which hides the concerns about file serverheterogeneity and location.
