Analyses on industrial pollution and its spatial distribution are made in Haihe River Basin in 2005, also we estimate the coordination relationship between economic development and industrial pollution there, and identify the main factors which impact the industrial pollution. The results show that: the industrial structural pollution is obvious, the major pollution industries are paper-making, chemistry and spinning,; the concentration of pollutants discharged from the industries is seriously higher than the standard level, COD discharge of some industries, such as leather manufacturing and food industry, are exceeding the standard. Industries, including chemistry and petroleum coking, emit more NH3-N than the standard. In 6950 corporations investigated, for 50% of them, COD concentration is exceeding the standard; for 30% of them, NH3-N concentration is exceeding the standard. At the same time, we assess the coordination relationship between economic development and industrial pollution with Coordination Rate, it shows different spatial distribution. For 31 cities, the Coordination Rate is more than 1 in Beijing, Tianjin, Changzhi, Jinzhong and Yangquan, while it is less than 0.5 in Baoding, Cangzhou,Binzhou, Xinxiang and Xinzhou. We cite Grey Relational Degree to analyze the factors which impact the industrial pollution, and it reveals that the main factors in order are industrial wastewater discharge amount, industrial output value, the ratios of the secondary and tertiary industries, urbanization rate,GDP per capita, the total population.
