Coupling Sensors to UHF RFID Tags

Coupling sensor signals to existing UHF RFID tags enables low volume applications without incurring the additional cost of developing a custom integrated circuit. The feasibility of this approach is demonstrated using the radar cross section as the metric in both simulations and experiments.
