摘要

An alternative measurement procedure was developed to measure the CIE 1931 chromaticity coordinates and luminance for the red, amber and green lights of a railway signalling assembly. The alternative measurement procedure makes use of a spectroradiometer placed at a distance of approximately 13 m from the railway signalling assembly. The viewing area of the spectroradiometer filled approximately 90 % of the luminance area of each light source respectively, ensuring repeatability between measurements.
