摘要

Tobacco is an important economical crop,which plays an extraordinary role by its economical status in crop production. The tobacco leaf take a highly part in tobacco classification and using an appropriate edge detection algorithm to obtain the nicety and clear tobacco leaf is a critical process in image manipulation. The rationale and the design of the canny algorithm was researched,the method of Sobel algorithm,Robert algorithm,Prewitt algorithm and Laplace algorithm are separately used to measure and contrast the tobacco leaf. The result indicate that Canny algorithm is a quite effective arithmetic,which is adapt to the edge detection of tobacco image.
