摘要

After making experiment and liquefaction analysis on geological samples of dam,the underwater section of sand-shell dam with clay-filled-wall of Hualiangting Reservoir may occur liquefaction and landslip when it happens 7 scale earthquake since sand in dam slope in the upper reaches is not compact enough. It needs to make measures to prevent earthquake and reinforce. Currently, the earth and rockfill dams that have been reinforced for earth-quake resistance are not so many in our country, and engineering experience is very less, and also there is not available mature reinforcement design method and technical specification. The engineering uses result of dynamic strength of soil, follows dynamic finite element anal-ysis to make technical verification on earthquake resistance and reinforcement plan of dam,and raises slope-press reinforcing plan for earthquake resistance, i.e.: filling block stone into underwater section of upstream dam to press slope and stone materials into above-water sec-tion to press slope, which solves efficiently the reinforcement issues for earthquake resistance of dam slope in upper reaches of dam under the condition when reservoir is impounded, the experience of which can be referenced and used by future similar engineering.
