Analysis on Dam Monitoring Displacements of Changma Reservoir

The Changma Reservoir is located in the Shule River Basin. Dam Monitoring Dis-placements includes external deformation and internal deformation (vertical, horizontal). In-ternal vertical deformations were observed by water level settlement gauge; horizontal de-formations were observed by horizontal displacement gauge; three incline holes were laid on the top of dam to observe horizontal deformation; the mountain displacements on the right of dam were observed by inclinometer tube (for horizontal displacements) and multi-point ex-tensometer (for vertical displacements). The results showed that the dam and mountain dis-placements were all within allowable value of standard and design, but they did not reach sta-tionary phase. At this period, the dam was in secure running state. This paper proposes some problems and gives some suggestions which are helpful to the following monitoring work.
