Basic Data Information System for Reservoir Dams in China

摘要

This paper presents the technical scheme of basic data management information sys-tem of China's reservoir dams developed for water resource administrative departments. This MIS is designed to be managed and updated through Internet by water resource administra-tive departments at all levels. Authorized users can inquire and browse dam information or statistical report forms. This paper introduces the demand analysis, system structure, user management, main functions and security control etc. of the system. The system design leaves room for further upgrade and function extension.
