Research on Web services Application in Distance Education Platform Construction

摘要

There are many learning resources in Internet with different architectures. One of the challenges in building distance education platform is how to ensure seamless integration and interoperability among heterogeneous applications across platforms and servers. This article discusses the approach to embed didactical functions in the flexible education environment, and to use Web service technology in building distance education platform. The proposed platform in this article provides a flexible interface for participate in education system. A system deployment and implementation plan is given accordingly.
