Usually, the specific capacitance of the carbon material can be improved by introducing pseudo-capacitive species on the electrode materials. The electrical conductivity and stability of transition-metal oxides can be enhanced by using a carbon support [1]. To take full advantage of the double-layer capacitance and pseudo-capacitance, in this work, CAMB was prepared by inverse emulsion polymerization. The obtained CAMB was applied as the substrate of NiO growth by in situ coating method. The capacitive properties of the NiO/CAMB composites were investigated were studied in detail.
