Absorption of heavy metals can cause damage on the human health going up to death [1]. Several processes for the treatment of metal-containing waters have been developed to remove effectively heavy metals from water such as chemical precipitation, ion exchange, membrane separation and activated carbon adsorption [2]. The research described here tests the properties of activated Coconut shell carbon as an adsorbent for removing lead(II) from synthetically solutions in batch system.
