Diverse morphologies of carbon nanotube(CNT)-based membranes have been studied owing to their outstanding potential properties such as extraordinary water permeability, microbial toxicity and chlorine resistance. But concerning of their microbial damage in source water and leaching side-effect to water permeate has been still remained. In this study all morphologies of CNT-based membranes were exposed to bacterial system with the 3 to 15 times higher exposure intensity of bacteria to CNT membranes than usual membrane operation situation. Furthermore the safeties of leaching water of all membranes and the membranes before to after leaching were compared.
