摘要

In this study the mesocarbon microbeads (MCMB) prepared from a coal tar pitch. For modification of the effective parameters (temperature, time and pressure) the Taguchi design experiment was used. For investigating of the morphology of mesophase spheres scanning electron microscope (SEM) has been used, and the effect of pressure studied by examination of FT-IR peaks shift. The thermal behavior of mesophase powders after and before heat treatment analysed by TGA and DTA methods.
