Reformation of Environmental Ecology Curriculum

The Environmental ecology is the specialized fundamental course of environment major in the college, with foundational, comprehensive nature as well as the practical characteristic. Simultaneously the curriculum is taking on the double duty to enhance students' knowledge accomplishment in environmental science and carry on environmental education. In order to enhance students' elementary knowledge and the specialized practical ability, the article has carried on the exploration about the teaching idea and the teaching method to promote the quality of teaching. The article will take some measures to promote quality of teaching from the theoretical teaching integrated with practice, development of extracurricular practice, the improvement in teaching method, the improvement in examination method, strengthening in students investigation study and so on. By these measures, the sole classroom theoretical teaching can be transformed to the teaching combined with the practice, knowledge range of the student can be expanded, the quality of the student can be improved, their innovative spirit and the practical ability also can be raised.
