The paper considers generation of tabular aerodynamic models based on simulation data. The framework uses a hierarchy of models with different fidelity and cost, from Digital DATCOM to URANS CFD, and enables detailed assessment of results from the different sources. The sampling over the flight envelope is guided by data driven error estimates complemented by rules provided by the user. The framework has been applied to two cases, the RANGER 2000 jet trainer for which complete flight data is available, and the high-transonic TransCRuiser design study.
