We have designed a high nolinear photonic crystal fiber by considering nonlinear coefficient,chromatic dispersion and confinement loss. The detail of the design process is presented in this paper.According the simulation results, we have fabricated a kind of highly nonlinear photonic crystal fiber, whichis characteristics with the flatten dispersion curve at 800nm wave band and negative dispersion at wavelengthof 805nm (about -40ps/nm/km). In this kind of PCF we design the zero dispersion around 800nm. With thefabricated fiber, we demonstrate that supercontinuum emission with spectrum stretching over 900nm isobtained by injecting Ti: sapphire laser pulses.
