@@1 IntroductionThe Antuoling Mo deposit is the most achievement of Tianjin North China Geological Exploration General Institute, China. The ore district is located at the North Segment of the Taihang intraplate orogen, between the Dahenanian and Laiyuanian batholiths. The cropped out strata in the district are mainly the Archean metamorphic rocks of the Fuping group and the Mid-Late Proterozoic carbonate rocks. There are a minor granitic intrusion and many dikes, which characterized by wide spectrum of chemical compositions (Fig. 1). As early as at the middle of 1980s, some favourable clues for copper exploration were discovered in this area. However, the works are not successive till recent years. Recently, the mining engineers have discovered molybdenum ore bodies in the surrounding metamorphic rocks of the minor intrusion. The workable reserves of molybdenum metal are 0.15 Mt.
