Observation of the ultrashort light pulses is valuable in not only ultrafast sciences, but also industrial applications such as photonic networks, laser processing, nano surgery. Light-in-flight holography [1-3] is one of the techniques for observing propagation of ultrashort light pulse. We demonstrated the moving pictures of not only 2-D image but also 3-D image of femtosecond light pulse propagation [4-6]. We had used infrared femtosecond light pulse in the previous study because femtosecond pulsed lasers generate infrared pulse in general. On the other hand, holographic plates sensitive to infrared are not easily obtainable. This is because most of holographic plates are developed for visible or shorter-wavelength applications such as display, optical memories. Therefore it is useful to develop a technique to record moving picture of visible femtosecond light pulse to extend the application fields of the light-in-flight holography. However, light propagation of 3-D image of the visible femtosecond laser pulse has not observed yet. In this paper, we report moving pictures of 3-D image of visible ultrashort light pulse propagation for the first time.
