摘要

HF communication plays an indispensable role in military communication with its characteristics of simple facility, rapid line construction and low cost of communication. HF channel simulation has always been a hot research subject in the field of HF communication. Owing to the particular features of HF channel, the default OPNET pipeline stages are not suitable for simulation. Based on the study of OPNET pipeline stages, this paper designs and implements a set of practical HF channel pipeline stages, with modification of pipeline stages as receiver group, closure, propagation delay, receiver power and background noise. A typical HF communication network has been simulated by taking the modified HF channel pipeline stages into consideration. The simulation results indicate that the modified HF channel pipeline stages provide HF channel models available for HF communication networks.
