Measurement of Space Charges in Dielectric Materials by Pulse Electro-acousticMethod after Irradiation by High-energy Electron Beam

摘要

Dielectric materials are widely used in space environment. When they are irradiated,charges will accumulate in the bulk and on the surface of the material, leading topulse discharge events that can cause permanent changes in their physical andchemical structure. In this paper, a special method called PEA (pulse electro-acoustic)was used to measure and analyze the space charging of several dielectric materialsafter they have been irradiated by different high-energy electron beams.
