Modular Li-ion Battery Systems for Electric and Hybrid Powertrains

Larger lithium-ion battery systems are outlined in this work. An outlook is given on the chemistry and production of cells, battery management systems and development from individual cell to modular battery systems. Lithium iron phosphate cells and systems manufactured by European Batteries are presented in more detail.
